You may be familiar with Thriving Together: A Springboard for Equitable Recovery and Resilience in Communities Across America, a joint project of CDC Foundation and Well Being Trust, coordinated with Community Initiatives and ReThink Health and supported by IP3. It was released in 2020 and highlights scores of actions that communities, organizations, businesses, governments, and funders can take in the wake of COVID-19 and other tangled threats to our nation. Throughout its development, a diverse set of resources, tools, stories, perspectives, policies, and guides were identified as useful in moving towards the goal of equitable well-being.
As an organization whose mission is to create healthy, equitable, sustainable communities that advance well-being now and for future generations, we are actively collaborating with others across the nation to “meet the moment” of renewal that we find ourselves in. The time is now for big, bold change to advance equitable well-being for ourselves and for generations to come. To make transformational change, we need transformational tools.
