Contra Costa Together: Connecting People, Data, and Resources

Contra Costa Together is a collaborative of organizations, community leaders, and residents working across Contra Costa County, California, to advance equity, well-being, and belonging. The network brings together diverse voices and sectors to tackle complex challenges and create the conditions for everyone to thrive.

At IP3, we are proud to support Contra Costa Together by serving as the digital backbone for this growing movement. Through the development of the collaborative's website and digital tools, we’re helping partners align around a shared identity, connect, and accelerate collective impact.

Creating a Hub for Shared Identity

Contra Costa Together needed a central hub to share its story, unify its members, and encourage broader participation. The new website, a Community Commons Space, establishes a visual identity for the collaborative and provides a welcoming, accessible space for partners and residents alike to learn about the network’s priorities and initiatives.

The site catalyzes the network’s efforts through highlighting its mission and values, showcasing key initiatives, and promoting opportunities for deeper engagement.

Connecting People, Data, and Resources

Strong collaboratives need tools that make it easy to share information, build relationships, and make informed decisions. IP3 integrated several digital components designed to support this work:

Interactive Data Dashboards

Built with IP3 ASSESS, these dashboards allow partners to explore data aligned with the Vital Conditions for Health and Well-Being. The tools make it simple to identify disparities, track progress, and target strategies with the greatest impact.

Network Directory

A searchable directory showcases the organizations, leaders, and partners working across Contra Costa County. Making the network visible fosters partner discovery and collaboration and helps members see how their work connects to the larger movement.

Resource Library

The library provides easy access to curated tools, reports, and stories to support local efforts. Centralizing resources helps partners spend less time searching and more time acting.

Building Shared Language and Alignment

One of the most powerful outcomes of this digital infrastructure is the creation of a shared language across sectors and partners. The website and tools make it easier for participants to connect their work to larger goals, coordinate strategies, and amplify collective messaging. ​​This alignment helps create momentum. By working from the same data, resources, and understanding, Contra Costa Together is better equipped to drive meaningful change across the region.

Our work with Contra Costa Together builds on our experience supporting collaboratives, such as the Inland Empire Vital Conditions Network and the North Sound ACH. While each network is unique, they share a common goal: creating the conditions for well-being, equity, and belonging.
